Charlie Sheen isn't leaving TV anytime soon. FX has renewed Anger Management—its Sheen-starring, Two and a Half Men-esque, multi-camera comedy that's based loosely on the Adam Sandler movie of the same name—for a whopping "back 90" episodes. The network announced the renewal this morning via press release, saying that production on Season 2 will begin at the end of September and the show will return to the air in January.

We pretty much knew this news was coming; it was mostly a matter of when (and frankly I'm kind of surprised the show wasn't renewed earlier). As part of Anger Management's original deal, announced when FX first landed the property, if the show did well enough in the ratings in its first ten episodes, it was guaranteed a 90-episode pickup... thus ensuring that it would hit the 100-episode mark typically required for syndication.

According to FX, Anger Management exceeded exceptions, becoming the highest-rated new comedy series on cable in 2012, and averaging 4.53 million total viewers and 2.5 million adults 18-49 in its first ten episodes.

The series we were all so curious about but didn't really watch is officially concluding its season tonight, folks. You won't be seeing Charlie for a while—unless you stumble upon Two and a Half Men on syndication during one of the 24 hours it airs on TV each day. In the finale, "Charlie Gets Romantic," Kate and Charlie confront their relationships like adults after what was meant to be a very simple gesture gets scrutinized. Remember Charlie? He's still chillin' on FX and tonight he's getting romantic. In "Charlie Gets Romantic," which is also the first season finale, Kate and Charlie take some time to really consider their relationship after what was meant to be an innocent gesture gets overanalyzed. Also, a racey photo of Sam turns up on Facebook. Yowsa! It's called 'untag this,' Sam.

Yet another season finale! In "High Noon" Mike goes MIA to deal with a very personal issue, but his timing couldn't be any worse—as Harvey fights his hardest for the firm, he realizes he can't do it without Mike. Bring the band back together, Harvey!

Here's what happens in tonight's "Homewrecker Hamilton:" Jenna gets an unexpected, shocking text message. Jenna gets thrown off her game. Man, I love Jenna's oh-so-serious-even-though-it's-really-just-high-school-so-it's-not-that-big-of-a-deal love troubles.

Tonight, it's all about the journey. In "Looking for Liz; Lilly Changes," Louie finds himself in the middle of a quest for a long lost love. Whether he finds her or not is yet to be determined. Later, he winds up on a search for his daughter. Whether he finds her or not says a lot about his parental determination.
